FWIW Kinziger from ISUr has followed Iowa's Stirtz on Instagram. Odd.
Trying to ride his coattail to a PC?

wouldn't that be a gas if McCollum poached every remaining All-MVC player for his rebuild there at Iowa.
...Kinzinger, Walker, Davis, Schwieger, Daugherty, Pozatto, All Right- added to Stirtz, Manyawu, Banks, Combs, Howard, Saadi...
Nice team for starters...
I have loved college basketball for decades. But really . . . when does this stop being "college" basketball? It just seems more like a one-year "Rent-a-Team" of college-aged basketball players. Kudos to Coach Wardle for his ability -- so far -- to keep the nucleus of his teams intact.
The NCAA went from being very strict to completely hands off in the span of a few years. They are scared of lawsuits from players. People blame the NIL but I think it isn't as big of a deal. Players have always been getting paid, it is just now out in the open.
IMO the biggest issue is the basically the unlimited transfers being allowed now. There needs to be some sort of regulation put on that. I think every player should be allowed one free transfer, but after their first one they need to sit out a year.
UIC's Sasa Ciani is in the transfer portal. He was the 2nd leading rebounder in the MVC last season with 7.6 rebounds/game. He also scored 9.9 points/game. he is a sophomore and has 2 seasons of eligibility left.
He's one of the best players in the MVC- surprising that he only got about 17 min per game over the last 12 games...UIC's Sasa Ciani is in the transfer portal. Isn't his brother going to Wisconsin? Don't see him as a high major player
