That Creighton game is the most important one of the day, IMO. With Fresno St. looming around the corner, this is a must win, and will help right their ship.

Of course, that would mean one more difficult team for Bradley to beat later on, but CU needs this win to help the conference continue their OOC dominance.

It looks like ISU is still struggling to put points on the board like last year. The margin is now 23 points with a little over 8 min to go. They will not make 50.

Upset Picks

Upset Picks

I wouldn't be surprised by the following upsets:

UNCW over Mizzou St.
Wyoming over WSU
Creighton over X
Geo Sou. over Drake (is this even an upset?)
Ind. St. over Butler (ISU is pathetic, but they always seem to play their year's best game against Indiana's best team)

Wow! 7-0 for the Valley today, and the #2 rated conference according to realtimerpi, with WSU #1! I know it's early in the season, but everyone in the conference is ranked in the top 120. Dang! Imagine if our Braves had taken care of Tennessee Tech. We could have ranked even higher!

What a night for the MVC! Wonder how Billy Packer will spin things this year. I guess the MVC has "cracked the code" for good!
Here are all the finals from Saturday--

Illinois St. (6-3) 41
Evansville (6-3) 69
ISU shot 27% from the floor and from 3-point. Point guard Boo Richardson had a nightmare game- 0-11, 2 assists, 5 turnovers.
UE's Matt Webster had 21 points, and UE shot 53%.

The MVC moves back into the #2 spot in Conference RPI

And all 10 MVC teams are ranked at RPI 114 or lower. Bradley is now the lowest ranked team in the league.

If Billy wants to regain his spot as a preeminent voice in college basketball, he'll start touting the MVC as a 5 bid conference this year :-o

I think the BU nation needs to prepare itself this year for a wild ride accompanied by a lot of cheers and a lot of groans when playing on the road within the MVC.

Was watching the Indiana - Kentucky game yesterday when one of the commentators (I think it was Clark Kellogg) put up a graphic of Valley victories over top teams this year, and then said "The Valley is at it again this year!" Among the games listed was Bradley over DePaul.

Guess they can add a couple more to the list after last night, eh?
