Missouri State forward quits team

6'8" Junior forward Kyle Rausch has quit the Missouri State team. He played very little his first 2 seasons. He played a total of 22 minutes his freshman season, and averaged 8 minutes per game and 2.2 ppg as a sophomore.
But Missouri State will be short on big men next season, so this could hurt them a little. The only players taller than 6'5" returning will be senior 6'9" Drew Richards who averaged 7.5 ppg, and the least used player on the roster last season, 6'7" senior Dextroy Mansfield (2.2 ppg).

Looks like Wade Knapp will be starting and playing a lot for the Bears.

Rausch originally went to MSU as a football player. I'm not certain, but I think he was a walk-on for the basketball team.
