Where's the love for Mike Tauchman, the current Cub leadoff hitter and CF and Bradley Alum? Did I miss it, or are you all Cardinal fans?

He's off to a nice start with the Cubs. Hopefully he can regain the form he had in his first season with the Yankees.

Hope Tauchman can keep hitting. He is 32 years old now, and I think this might be his last shot at staying on a big league roster. He's had brief stints with the Colorado Rockies, who drafted him in the 10th round in 2013, the NY Yankees, and the SF Giants.

For those who don't know, Mike lead the nation in hitting his senior year at Bradley with an average of .425, was an All-American, and was the MVC Player of the Year, among other honors-

Well Tauchman robbed the Cardinals tonight catching a ball 2 feet over the centerfield wall bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and a runner on 3rd for the Win....:mrgreen::mrgreen:

To paraphrase an old saying, "My four favorite teams are the Bradley Braves, the Chicago Cubs, and whoever is playing Illinois State and the St. Louis Cardinals!
