Merfeld to Bradley rumor

Lots of people knew this, as proven by some private messages I got from t, c-BUB, etc.
I guess we were all waiting until an official announcement before more talk.
What I found to be the most remarkable part of this story is how badly the local media is scooped.
They have literally been caught with their pants down, and lots of message board posters and news stations from 150 miles away seem to know the story while our guys don't have a clue.

Does anyone think there's animosity between the local media and BU?
They don't seem to be on speaking terms, but given the way some in the local media have ripped folks on the hilltop, I guess there could be some burned bridges.
