On this date: Syracuse rallies to upset Bradley in National Campus Tournament final.​

What's interesting - I never heard of the National Campus Tournament. The 1951 final was played at Bradley on March 31, 1951.

What's also interesting is that a year earlier (1950) Bradley played in both the NCAA Final and the NIT Final loosing to CCNY in both.

Because of the New York corruption that came to light after the 1950 NCAA/NIT, Bradley actually hosted its own tournament that year. Might be the only school to ever play host to a D1 postseason tournament. #6 Bradley was upset by unranked Syracuse in the title game.

Field was Bradley, Wyoming, Villanova, Utah, Duquesne, Western Kentucky, Toledo and Syracuse. Toledo was #14 and Villanova was #20.
