The only part that would be a slight step up would be fans. I know LSU isn't a basketball power. I just always get the impression watching USC that fans could care less if they have a Bball team. The stands are frequently half empty. Maybe that is changing now with Floyd though.

I just watched some of Brady's press conference and he was really broken up. Lots of tears as he got through his speech.
 
only two years from a Final Four appearance, and after turning down HUGE, lucrative offers to go elsewhere, LSU head basketball coach John Brady was fired! Press conference set for noon...

Anthony Grant would be a fabulous hire there IMO...a great fit for that program and he already has established a great southern recruiting base after coaching at UF
