Lack of Offensive Understanding

I think it's a little of both wily. After nine years a good coach (and even an inexperienced one who learns on the fly) should have been able to figure out how to find all of the pieces to build a puzzle. Instead, we're left year in and year out with an incomplete puzzle; there's always something missing (and it's usually because of pieces we never got to show up or who left on their own after a year). Not to mention the poor substitution patterns, simplistic offense, uncalled for/poorly timed technicals, failure to develop players, etc.....

It's time for this to end! :!:

Upon further review, I may agree more with your thoughts then mine . Maybe I was being nice. Go Braves maybe if Creighton can't get in we can call that a win. lol

Most of this team's faults are because of Jim's lack of recruiting. When we could not beat Quincy College, I began to think that most of our Bradley's players are not Div I material. I know Bradley cannot get the guys that go to Big 10 schools, but we cannot even compete in our conference, so we are getting out recruited by Valley coaches. So, it is not our facilities, not the lack of crowd interest, or lack of history (by the way, 25 years ago today, Bradley was 20-1 and ranked no 13 in the country), so it must be our coach. We also lack in player development. When Coach Stowell was here, he had trouble recruiting, but I thought his players improved a lot over time and could generally compete well in the Valley. Lastly, I have noticed that several assistant coaches, Al Bialanga, Eric Buesher, and Steve Merfeld left without explanation. I do not know the answers for this program, but this season seems worse than Molinari's last season with less hope for next year.

I think this is a hard roll so to speak on JL but there is a lot of truth in there.

Apparently the best thing he does is shmooze the BSS members...

Look this is a bad time for him, and BU hoops. At some time he is going to realize the he will get a ton of credit (His best item) for the sweet 16, and be saddled by his MVC record which will include the lowest winning percentage at Carver arena, and likely before.

Time will heal all wounds.

Sorry to hear about the clubs...you want some bad news from here....I have clubs but with a MAJOR snowstorm on the way what good are they.

I don't think I've even seen a college game with an offense pushed out so far away from the basket like I did in this one.
How can you produce 50 points even with good shooting with this strategy. It kind of made sense to stall for a little while, but to not make adjustments and work the ball around instead of hold the ball 35 feet from the bucket with nobody moving was senseless. Wichita's movement is awesome compared to us, and they like D-I vs. D-III.
If I watch another team with an RPI of 300+, I'm pretty sure I can find half of those teams with better offense and motion that Bradley's.
This was a terrible gameplan and totally boring to watch.

Where is this big storm we are suppose to get, which I hope we don't get, going to come from... I don't see much developing yet... don't our big winter storms usually come from the SW, I don't see anything yet... I hope not.

I heard it was the thing in alabama....but that looks like it is moving dead east.....i want to snow day so hopefully it jets north

The upper level storm system is currently moving from southern California into Arizona (at 3 am Monday). It won't start coming together until the surface low develops in Texas tonight and heads northeast and deepens towards SE MO by late Tuesday and IN by midday Wednesday...a classic heavy snow setup from here in OK to there in IL. We here in Tulsa are going to get pounded as well as it will also be one of our worst storms ever.
 
Starting to rain in Mesa and going to cool off the next few days. Our rain will be your snow. Urnal Star on line says Creighton and the refs are on the way.

Chico - What kind of clubs were they???
