Ka'Darryl Bell Commits to BU

BTW- Ka'Darryl Bell is rated 3-stars by Rivals-

I am not sure I recall Bradley ever landing a higher rated guard than 3 stars.
And, Rivals does not rate any Illinois 2012 guards, point guards or shooting guards any higher than 3-stars.
So I would say we got a pretty good one out of the class of 2012, since none are rated higher.

Here are the point guards that Rivals lists for the class of 2012 in Illinois, listed in order by rating-

What smaller school or mid-major wouldn't want a 5-Star kid, a Jon Diebler, a JJ Redick - hey as long as we're dreaming - why not ask for a Jared Sullinger or Kyrie Irving??
ssey, a TCS, etc...then people criticize like crazy that it was a scholarship wasted...
I have even seen people call Andrew Warren, Sam Maniscalco, and even DSE poorly spent scholarships!

A mid-major fan base can't have it both ways -- you can't expect a stable of 5-Star caliber kids without an occasional kid who doesn't pan out - yet that's exactly what fans DO clammor for...

I fully believe Geno's on the right track -- give the guy time -- here he hasn't even coached a game yet.

I meant just a spot up shooter. Not a five star. But someone who would rather shoot the three then head fake and drive. Not that I wish we had kyrie Irving lol

Questionable threats, but there IS potential there. I would add WL to this list, and MK too. I think we'll see some of these guys with higher accuracy from behind the arc this season, especially for the reason that B4L mentioned.

Thanks LittleBrave! :) I forgot about Milos...... Add him to my list. Walt has a funny looking shot so I didn't count him. I hope he proves me wrong though. :)

A little more about Ka'Darryl from Van Coleman.

"So surprised, that he made the decision to become a Brave this afternoon. He averaged 17 points and handed out 5.5 assists a game as a junior. He is an explosive ball handler who can flat out deliver the rock in transition game. He has range to the arc that keeps "D" honest and sets up dribble drive with either hand. He will add immediate help at the point for the Braves next fall."
