.....Bradley does not have enough open scholarships as of now, and probably that is the case with most schools.
Even if the NCAA waived the scholarship limit for one year to accommodate the addition of all these players affected, that would only create more problems. Schools' rosters could explode to 18, 19, 20 or more. Some schools may not want every eligible player back. Some returning seniors might want the opportunity to transfer, since they weren't able to take part in the transfer portal window at the time it was open (April 7-21). And other players already on schools' rosters might be crowded out and also want a chance to transfer now. So then the NCAA might have to reopen the transfer portal and it would start a recruiting feeding frenzy for coaches to recruit these newly eligible players.
