Josh Hamilton Hits 28 HRs in First Rd of HR Derby

I don't watch the Derby and haven't for about ten years...back when I was in high school. But I just was the headline on ESPN.com about Josh Hamilton, who already might be the best story in baseball this year, hit 28 HRs in the 1st round of the HR Derby. 28! That means out of 38 pitches, 28 were hit beyond 350 feet in the air. Simply unbelieveable...
 
I loved during the call your shot part that Brimfield is now part of the Chicago area!...oh well, at least they got it in the state of Illinois!:eek:
 
I watch the derby every year and Hamilton was as locked in as I've ever seen. It was amazing to watch.

At least the Brimfield guy rooted for the right team!
 
three 500+ shots.....i cant even imagine doing that. The way he acted with Hanley Ramirez's kids was great to see too. He currently does public speaking tours in the offseason. I would love to see one of those. He seems like a great guy, who put himself through everything, and still overcame it.
