I thought I would pass this along:

Jon Leuer averaged 20 points per game as a junior, leading Orono to a 14-12 mark. Leuer has become more of a complete players as he has grown three inches in the past year. He was primarily a perimeter player, but has developed more of an inside game.

Leuer visited Rice University while in Houston along with Magic teammates Blake Hoffarber, Tim Weaver and Eric Carlson. the Owls extended a scholarship offer after he returned home.

Leuer's father, Mike, said that Wisconsin Green Bay, Air Force, St. Louis, Bradley and Princeton have been in contact since Kingwood.

Minnesota head coach Dan Monson and assistant Jim Molinari were in attendance at the Magic games in Kingwood and Leuer went to Minnesota last Wednesday for an unofficial visit.

"They offered him a walk-on deal. Head coach asked him to get in the bunker with him"

Now that UW has committments from forwards Tim Jarmusz, Keaton Nankivil, and Leuer, does anyone think Wisconsin is still interested in Shang Ping?

I don't think they ever really wanted Ping.I think they did take a look at him and the rest was just a lot of hype.
