According to today's MMQB by Peter King: Scouts think Jimmy Clausen's too cocky.

Is that a quality that is detrimental? I can think of a lot of cocky quarterbacks, and in many cases it might have been a positive quality.

It's not cocky IF he can back it up.

I think the sentiment he was describing was that Clausen was TOO cocky.

Just kidding...I have an unusually high amount of friends and co-workers from there. All of them are great...and fun to needle when football isn't going so well...

Im with you Da Coach. Nothing wrong with that. Although sometimes cockiness is genuine confidence, other times it is used to mask self doubt and lack of confidence. Its hard to tell really.

I know a few from there as well. It's easy to poke fun at their football team since we've been undefeated for so long. They're usually just not sure what to say back. Plus, we can pick any team to root for against ND.
