The Jim Les Live radio show resumes today, Monday, Nov. 1

It will be similar to last year, and will start around 7:30 am as part of the Greg and Dan radio show on WMBD 1470.
From what I hear, the show will air on Mondays, and on game days.
Check it out!

You can listen online here- www.1470wmbd.com by clicking on the Listen Live in the upper left.

Listening to the show...
Coach Les talked about the upcoming season and the trip to Duke.
He talked about having 5 players over 22 years old.
They talked in general terms about what he's seen in the team so far.
Will Egolf has been the most improved and Prosser and Sticks are much improved too. Coach Les is not ready to say he'll play big yet, but we are capable if needed.
JL talked about the new coaching staff a little.
Then they discussed the preseason MVC poll and All MVC picks.

Next game is Sat. against Quincy.
Next show is Friday 8:30am.

Talked about Duke being a great opportunity and a great experience.

Come SM's birthday in November, there will be five guys on the roster that are 22 years old.

Red/White......good to get out and play under the lights in front of the fans; good minutes for everyone on the squad......post play was good and sound.

WE - was nursing a high ankle sprain; has stepped up and been dominant on both ends of the floor rebounding and scoring; capable of being productive at more than one position.

Wants the other post players to "make" him play big!

JP and AT doing very well in the post position, which he hasn't seen in the past.

Good relationship (on and off the court) between new assistants and players......and the former players that show they "want to" come back and help out with the team.

Willie Scott able to speak to the players on different levels....business background, played overseas, former BU player.......

Three players on preseason list.....great for the fans and creates conversation; don't focus too much on those things at this point since too many factors come into play during the season.

Playing time.....not yet completely healthy in practice. Only two guys on roster that are under 200 pounds. More physical team. WE and TB "back" from their injuries. SM practicing more. Able to go big/small....show different defensive looks.

I just hope I never have to hear JL talk about needing players buying in, the team having to "clean up" things, or BU hanging their hats, on JL Live this year...;-);-);-)

If the players aren't buying in to BU's schemes, give em no limit credit cards....

There was so much cleaning up mentioned last year that the BU team should be spotless by now.

Shouldn't BU players be hanging their jerseys vs hats? Or perhaps their jockstraps?....How many hat racks can there possibly be in their locker room?

Time to refresh the lexicon Coach! Hopefully the new asst coaches and AD bring in some new Les-isms for 2010-11!

I have to believe Willie Scott will be very good for this team in more ways then just on the floor coaching. Call it a hunch nothing more.
