Jeremy crouch rumor check

Ok, i heard today that Jeremy Crouch May be a part of the BU coaching staff in some capacity this season? I told the guy he was nuts, I thought he was still playing over seas?

any truth to the rumor ?
 
First I have heard this. I had heard that several former Braves were around for the summer, but haven't heard JC's name mentioned. Anyone else know?
 
The source was not very reliable, and I didnt initially believe him, then I saw JC on campus today and thought huh, maybe theres something to it. I also know jc has an interest in coaching which made me think more and I thought someone on the board may know.
 
I first heard a rumor like this a full year ago...and it probably stemmed from a comment JC once made in an interview where he said some day he might like to get into coaching..

but it didn't happen last year and I have not heard anything about it this year.
 
He is probably just helping out this summer in Haussler along with several other former players. I'm sure we would of heard something by now since the team is leaving in a couple weeks for a big Brazil trip.

Are you sure we would of heard something by now from our silent athletic department. I thought we would of heard about our AD position by now!
 
Heard last week he was working on a deal for 1 of 3 places: France, Germany but a different team as the team he played for last year has changed coaches, or Italy. Came through reliable sources and am trying to check out another source that is very close to the family and will let you know more when I find out more.
As for coaching @ BU I have heard that would be his dream job some day.
 
The team BOTH Jeremy Crouch and Will Franklin played for, the Braunschweig New Yorker Phantoms, have indeed fired their coach Emir Mutapcic after not making the playoffs, and have hired a new coach Sebastian Machowski .
It appears that the Phantoms are looking to shake up their personnel and may NOT want to resign Jeremy, but likely they will retain Will Franklin as he was one of their best players.

Daniel Ruffin's German team, the teckproBraves, will have a new coach but he has not yet been introduced, and they'll have a new name...
the "SAAR-PFALZ BRAVES basketball team".

It's not a German thing it's a BLING BLING thing! A lot of pro athletes are sporting them and the bigger they are the better, go figure! It is better then all those tattoos, IMO.

Now it appears that perhaps BOTH Will and Jeremy won't be re-signed by the Phantoms..
plus one of their best returning players has decided not to return, forcing management to look at other options.
we will have to wait to see where they sign.......
