Here's my favorite quote:
Oh I am pi**ed. We should never lose to a school named Bradley for crying out loud. Oh how far we have fallen.
I wonder if Jerry Meyer at Rivals took any note regarding last night around the Big 12? Losses to an MVC team, a Southland conference and a Sunbelt school. And A@M won by only 5 over UTEP at College Station.
If losing to Bradley is such a shame, then click

haha love it!!
They are reaping what they sow in Ames. McDermott is a complete jagbag and anytime he loses it's cause to celebrate. I give him 2 more years and he'll be begging for a job at Loras College.
He has been absolutely awful since his arrival. His arrogance has caught up with him and he clearly isn't the coach or leader he was touted to be. His leaving the Valley was addition by subtraction in my mind.
by the way..........speaking of Kansas.............
Last night Kansas mercilessly hammered some d-II team named the Ichabods!!!
(Washburn)
Wow. Never heard that kind of vitriol towards McDermott before. Anything you'd care to elaborate on (not being a wise-@ss, just curious as to why).

I agree....McDermott was nothing but complimentary towards BU and gracious in defeat the other nite.
Every interview I've ever heard of him. Plus a couple other stories (on the recruiting trail) I know about him that made me think of him the way I do.
Not to mention the fact that he never was upfront with his players at UNI about leaving. Many of them heard it from every source other than himself. That's bush league. From what I've been told by a couple UNI fans, he never did face his team to tell them he was leaving. He also approved a billboard of himself selling Cyclone Basketball not far outside Cedar Falls. That's really bad. He's a better politician than a hoops coach.
Most of the UNI fans were duped by him and they don't have much good to say about him either. He also trivialized his wife's illness as a major reason why he left UNI. There was no need to do that.
