I'm not here to start no trouble....

Since there are many fans of other teams that visit BradleyFans.com, topics like this are seen by opponent's fans.

Here is a thread from the Redbird board, and despite the fact that you would think reasonable people would understand why the video was done, and the charity that was benefitted by sales of the DVD, their reaction is typical.--

Ya... how silly of people for clicking on a youtube link, not knowing anything about it...and not automatically knowing that it had anything to do with a charity :roll::roll:

Your right... that is very typical:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

When I looked at this video in the morning it had 220 views. Now it has over 1,100.

Also, people are starting to talk MVC basketball on the comments. The latest post when I looked said "Bradley? They shoot too many 3's and don't work together as a team. Creighton has potential to win the MVC".

We need to prove this person wrong.

It must be a slow day for sports news in Terre Haute. The beat writer for the Indiana State Sycamores blogs a long column about the Bradley "MVC Shuffle" video.

He must have watched it several times as he dissects each segment of it and tries to find fault with it.
Among his attacks, he chides Chris Roberts with this critique--

??“ ???My name is Chris [Roberts] and I??™m from Texas, my game is fast like a shiney [sic] new Lexus.??? Spell check your braggadocio, please.

I guess this guy believes that rap songs don't just need to rhyme, the rhyming words must be spelled the same, too?

At the bottom of the column, he admits he is aware that the proceeds of the sale of the DVD goes to charity, so what's the point of all this?

A copycat video on the Bears 85 Super Bowl Shuffle.

Couldn't they have been a little more creative?

I must be getting old.

This is hilarious!

Who cares that we did a video for charity. We're in 1st place in the MVC and we're doing the MVC shuffle okay. When was it illegal for a team to have a little fun. I wonder what the team thinks? Hahaha I think it's hilarious.

And I've never heard of deadspin either...is it really national? And how does this video all of the sudden get so much attention after we post it on this board?

I look at this MVC Shuffle for what it is....to have some fun while getting some good funds out to the Danny Dalquist Scholarship Fund.....but this is kind of like having a dog...you cannot expect everyone to love your dog like you do! That being said...I had a talk with Dave Snell about the video and asked why it was not available at the games...I said it would sell out at every game if it was in the BU stand for sale with the DD red bracelets...he thought they were selling it at the games and said he would check into it!

I would imagine future sales have been greatly diminished now that it's available on You Tube for free.

Well...contrary to popular belief.....not everyone lives on the computer like some of us and have never seen the video!
