Illinois

I'm not tuned into the game. But I have stated a few times... if the Illini don't win by 25 there should be an investigation. The Illini are too good and Utah isn't good enough.

To expand on your comment that Bradley fans may be "lucky" they don't have to play the Illini. I'll agree. The Illini are playing good while Bradley is not.

I suppose I am glad to see we won't have to be run off the floor by the Illini right now.

I think we might be a better team later in the season (and so will the Illini), but I think we'd have a better chance of beating them later than right now... and even then, I have my severe doubts.

As much as I dislike the Illini, I can openly admit how right now we are not close to their level at all.

It isn't all lost. In the 06 season, we were not near who we became later in the season when we labored through November, December, January, or even maybe February.

I haven't given up - we are a work in progress. We WILL get better as the season grows (as all teams do). How much we grow, I don't know and look forward to watching the young men grow.

It's why I love Bradley Basketball.
 
The way Utah is playing, i'm not sure we'll even be able to beat them. They are a pretty big team that can get to the hoop. However, they go on their cold stretches like us.

IL fans in meltdown mode on facebook. I can only imagine what the HoopTV chat would of been like if the mods wouldn't of disabled it.

Game tied with IL goin to the line to finish off a 3 point play. IL really starting to pound it down low and draw some fouls. 3:45 left to play. Great 2nd half in this one.

Well, get ready to investigate! Illinois may still win this, but they have blown a 16 pt lead as it is tied now with under 4 to go.

My off-the-cuff prediction earlier on the chat that Illinois might lose just may be coming true! :D
 
Apparently, Illinois is not that great because we know how bad Utah is!

I'm sure the illinois state fans are extremely pleased with this result. :roll:
 
Man, ya gotta give it to Utah, they played a heck of a 2nd half. Hit their FREE THROW's and limited the turnovers. I think I would much rather lose to OK State than be ranked in the top 25 and lose a heart breaker like that to a team that just lost to a transitional division 1. Going to be interesting games tomorrow.

You know, Illinois had some problems with Wofford too. I think the Illini might be a little overrated at the moment. And if this is a down year for Utah, I'd hate to see where they will be in a year or two!

Utah just sent a big time message to the rest of the Mountain West Conference. And Bradley gets to benefit the most! :D

We just GOT to be jacked up for this game tomorrow. It's there for the taking. And remember, Utah just lost to a non-D1 Seattle team the other night, so momentum can change really quickly in this game!
