I thought this deserved a thread of its own.
SDSU plays in the Mountain West Conference, and there have been some pretty impressive big men in that conference including Andrew Bogut, Danny Granger, and now Beas Hamga. It'll be interesting to see how Carlwell does and whether he has the skills & mobility to succeed.
San Diego State and Arkansas State appear to have been his two options...

“It came down to San Diego State and Arkansas State,” Carlwell said.
The 6-foot-10 Carlwell was ranked No. 37 in the country in 2006..."
