ICC wins

ICC went 2-0 this weekend. They beat Southwestern Illinois 66-52 Sunday. Southwestern is a Division I juco (ICC is a D2), and is the school that Marcellus Sommerville and Lance Stemler attended before coming to Bradley. They are one of the top ranked jucos in D1 every year, and were ranked #24 in the NJCAA preseason poll.
ICC beat Forest Park of St. Louis (D2) on Saturday, 86-76.
ICC's top player, Breland McKnight, did not dress for either game.--

I did not see either game, but I have to say I am impressed.
They played WITHOUT their best player, McKnight, and beat Southwestern Illinois College by 14.
SWIC had just clobbered Sergio McClain's Parkland College 92-58!!!
(hmmmm...wonder why the coverage in the PJStar talked about Sergio but never mentioned this result at all!)

How is Parkland is doing??

Sergio Mclain is in his first year coaching Parkland...

after their first 7 games they are 2-5.....with one of their wins over a team called "Northwestern Club Team", maybe an intramural team of Northwestern college kids?....not really a school team.
Parkland is averaging 78.7 ppg, giving up 88.1 ppg.
