ICC Players

Of the kids on this year's ICC team, several were getting D-I looks and interest.
But the interest dropped off when ICC failed to get to the Nationals.
Both DeAaron Williams and Brandon Lee had previously been at D-I schools, but now neither has a D-I offer, and Billy Baptist turned out to be their best player, but still hasn't had a D-I offer mentioned yet.
That leaves Shang Ping as the only ICC player that we know has a D-I offer (Nebraska), until now.........

I have heard that point guard Wendell Mardis was getting strong interest from Idaho State and was possibly close to getting an offer, but then Idaho State just signed a backup point guard, Rich Jackson, so that would eliminate Mardis from their plans.
Jackson was a teammate last year of Matt Salley at Monroe.

And to think some porters at another board believed ICC would beat Bradley last season. :roll:

I think some of them still do think ICC could beat BU. :lol: :lol:
But then, I saw someone yesterday hooting that the guys getting the DUIs (LaRussa, etc...) in sports are as good of role models as Cal Ripken! They are just making "mistakes".

ICC point guard Wendell Mardis is getting some serious interest from Alabama State, who graduated the only guy on their roster who is a true PG. I look for an announcement soon on signing.
