I know some hate the "What if" game but ...

It's debatable. But at that age 1 year of life experience, not necessarily basketball experience, can go a long way. Work ethic, desire, time management, maturity, and lots of other intangible things go along with talent. Future earning potential w/an associates degree vs. a BS degree would be an example of what I mean- just a little more time invested up front to pay dividends later.

The NBA, IMO, doesn't work like that... and the NBA draft doesn't heavily base analysis and select on things like that.

IMO - the NBA is about making money. What makes money in their minds? Franchise players. Bring fans in to spend money and see so-n-so. Winning helps and doing well in the playoffs helps. But it is all about the individual and individual play that draws fans to their dying sport.

How does Gonzaga have a great non-conference schedule year in and year out?

I think the argument might twist into BU's ability to get Iowa St and Mich St to Carver. BU could get buy games every year at Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA (or any other legendary elite program without a return game).

Gonzaga has scheduled up by getting many road and NEUTRAL COURT games.

But, let's see... hmmmm... Gonzaga has a great non-con schedule every year....

You're probably right. POB peaked in his sophomore season in college and should be thankful for every dime he makes, regardless if he deserves it...

For the sake of college ball we had better hope the NBA survives.

BU wins the national championship with POB both last year and this year! No doubt...

Amc, the answer is simple. If he was still at Bradley, or at least would have been here last season, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN PLAYING. Not riding the log behind a center who couldn't carry POB's you know what, if he had more experience.
