Hank Alvey returns to Lehigh

Former IB Star Hank Alvey announces he is staying at Lehigh. Lots of talk about him being a target but he announced he is staying.

Local kid Hank Alvey (Glasford IL Illini Bluffs) has been selected to represent Team USA in FIBA 3x3 competition
He will compete in " Nations League" in Chile from June 27th to July 3rd.

USA 21 - Puerto Rico 9 - Hank Alvey 1 pt
USA 17 - Argentina 15 - Hank Alvey 2 pts

They play 3 games Sunday vs Canada, Cayman Islands & then a Championship game against the winner of Pool A

They are rotating players and today Alvey did not play
 
Monday the US team went 3-0, Alvey averaged 3 ppg in the three games- they remain undefeated
They resume play tomorrow
 
team USA is already 2-0 today with Alvey scoring 5pts in each game
The overall Championship games is in about an hour
 
USA beat Canada to go undefeated, 18-0, over the entire week, and win the Championship


Alvey played in 12 of their 18 games and averaged 3.4ppg ( a basket counts 1 pt, and a 3-pointer counts only 2 pts)
