the followup comment from Geno was that everyone he talked to supposedly agreed with him...
I find that really odd since everyone who I have seen express an opinion anywhere...on the street, in the many casual conversations I have had with other season ticket holders & fans since that original comment, and even in every chance meeting I have with another fan, plus ubiquitously on the message boards, and in all the columns in the media -
every one of them hates the idea and expresses loudly that it would be a disaster and that people won't go....but I guess Geno does see all that..
BTW - I doubt any decision will be made until this recent flurry of major changes settles down...
In just the past few months we've seen a major shakeup in the Board of Trustees, reports of major financial problems, major dropoff in quality of play of our premier sport and in attendance, the Chairman stepping down in protest and being replaced, then numerous Board meetings, senate hearings, and committee reports outlining major changes - cutbacks, and belt-tightening policies...even extending well into the academic and other areas beyond Athletics...
I think we are going to see several more in the near future - so such a major decision about moving our home games simply is not going to get made soon.
