I am sure there will be some who deny it but combine this with other facts that we already know -
- Kentucky sent FedEx packages full of cash to recruits and got caught - LINK
- USC handed envelops of cash to recruits and got caught - LINK
- multiple schools offered up to $200,000 to recruits and got exposed - LINK
- Rick Pitino bribed a recruit with $100,000 to play at Louisville - LINK
- Charles Barkley has multiple times admitted he took cash for playing at Auburn - LINK
- Even John Wooden arranged for big piles of cash to be paid to players to commit at UCLA back in the '60's - LINK
- and many, many more examples of big schools cheating....(most of which never or barely resulted in any penalties at the time)

and now a former Duke player under Coach K reveals that they all got "duffle bags full of cash"

It was obvious the big boys started doing this shortly after TV revenue started have an impact on the game. It has always been known.
