If anyone watched the Nebraska-Oklahoma game yesterday, it was the Rienk Mast show. He was dominant throughout the game, and lead Nebraska to a big win over a good Oklahoma team. Rienk played 34 minutes and had 26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and he was 5-7 from three....
Rienk Mast was instrumental in Nebraska's win Saturday at Illinois-
https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore/_/gameId/401825407

Rienk continues to be one of the top scorers in the Big Ten-

And Jim Mattson asked Nebraska Head Coach Fred Hoiberg about Rienk in the post-game press conference-

Reink Mast leads Nebraska over Michigan State in Lincoln 19 points (15 in first half) leading Nebraska, 7 rebounds leading Nebraska. Probably the biggest win for Nebraska ever. So, happy for Reink. I am always happy for him and on the other hand always hate seeing him in another uniform. They move to 14-0. Wow.

Video of Rienk in the post-game press conference imploring the Nebraska fans to stop storming the court when they win home games (sorry about the 15 second ad)

not sure this is a good thing, but.....

the last three BU starters who portalled elsewhere and currently playing for DI teams, have a
combined record right now of 40-6 (both Nebraska & Miami are 15-0, Charleston is 10-6)

Interesting matchup today (Sat., 1/10) between 2 of the top Big Ten teams, both lead by former MVC stars who are candidates this season for All-Big Ten. And no, I am not referring to former Drake guard Conor Enright.
Nebraska started today 15-0, but the critics have said they played a weak schedule.
Well, today they just beat Indiana in Bloomington, something that is not an easy task.
Nebraska 83 Indiana 77-
Format Bradley Brave Rienk Mast had an off-game with 13 points and 6 rebounds. He was just 1-7 from three.
Former Drake star and 2-time MVC Player of the Year Tucker DeVries had 17 points and 6 rebounds.
Conor Enright had 4 points, which is about his average.
So Nebraska remains undefeated at 16-0 and 5-0 in the Big Ten. Indiana drops to 12-4, and 3-2 in the Big Ten.

Rienk Mast has been terrific for Nebraska this season, after coming back from another severe knee injury and surgery last year.
#5 ranked Nebraska (20-0, 12-0) is playing at #3 ranked Michigan (18-1, 9-1) tonight, and Rienk was said to be out due to illness.
www.x.com/JonRothstein/status/2016300081582944445
However, he did come out onto the floor for warmups- www.x.com/RobinWashut/status/2016279450787181042
But the game is midway through the 2nd half with Nebraska leading Michigan 60-52, and Rienk has not played yet.

Nebraska lead Michigan from the start, but then went scoreless for the final 3:21 of the game, which allowed Michigan to come from behind, take the lead with 1:07 remaining, and hold on for the 75-72 win. Nebraska is not longer undefeated. Rienk Mast did not play.

Major foul and FT discrepancy...

Former Bradley player Jayson Kent played at Bradley in 2020-21 and 2021-22, then played 2 seasons at Indiana State (2022-23, 2023-24), and then finished his college career playing one season at Texas in 2024-25.
https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/stats/_/id/4703889/jayson-kent
Jayson was signed last October to a G-League contract by the Rip City Remix after a local tryout with the team. The Rip City Remix are located in North Portland, Oregon, and are the G-League affiliate of the Portland Trailblazers. In 38 games this season with the Rip City Remix, Kent was averaging 11.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 26.4 minutes per game. His shooting percentages were .483/.393/.921. That apparently impressed the Trailblazers, and today they signed Jayson to an NBA two-way contract. Congratulations to Jayson.

Zek Mongomery's contract was bought by Kosice Wolves in Slovakia, and
after 5 games with them he's averaging 16.6 ppg, 6 rpg, 2.4 apg

Duke Deen & Bakken Bears are in 1st place at 20-2. Duke is avg 11 ppg, 5 apg, 36% 3-point shooting

Elijah Childs plays in the top pro league in Israel, avg 10 ppg, 5 rpg, 41.3% 3-pt shooting

There's several other past BU players still playing pro overseas- Darius Hannah, Donte Thomas, Luuk van Bree, D-Lo, Auston Barnes,
Koch Bar, Ville Tahvanainen, Chudier Bile & others..
There are several overseas basketball sites that allow you to track those guys.

I saw where Rienk Mast just hit 1,800 career points (he's at 1,805 now)
He's one of the few remaining players who got five full seasons of eligibility because of the Covid year.
Had he stayed at Bradley, his career scoring total would maybe have even been higher and it would have
placed him somewhere around Paul Unruh's 1.822 or Darrell Brown, Jr.'s 1,860 - and he'd be as high
as 5th or 6th on Bradley's all time career scoring list. Currently he's #53 with 1,001 points in a Bradley uniform.

Mast also has 1,074 career rebounds. Again, had he stayed at BU, that figure would have easily ranked him
#2 behind Mr. Rebound Dick Estergard. Only two Bradley players have ever reached 1,000 rebounds...
Estergard at 1,414 & Chet Walker at 1,036.

Elijah Childs left Bradley with 849 rebounds and he had a season of eligibility remaining because of Covid- oh, what coulda been,
as I am sure he'd have reached 1,100 with that extra year. Childs also had 1,350 career points and likely would have hit
~1,800 or more. You can thank Dr. Standifird for that fiasco.

And one more note on a past Bradley player- Jayson Kent just signed an NBA 2-way contract with the Portland Blazers
and may play in tonight's game

Alex Huibregtse currently has 1,595 career points, but of course most of them do not count as career points for Bradley.
But if they did, his 1,595 would pass Cellus and crack the Top-15.

Trey Pettigrew spent 2022-23 at Nevada, 2023-24 at Bradley (left before playing in any games), 2024-25 at Eastern Michigan, and this year (2025-26) at D2 Johnson C. Smith University. He played in 24 of their 27 games, averaged 17.4 ppg, and shot 46% overall and 38% from three.
He's back in the portal again for the 4th time.

.....
Jamir Price is playing his final season of eligibility at Minnesota State-Moorhead. After 2 games, he is averaging 10.0 ppg and 4.0 rpg.
Former Bradley commit JaMir Price finished his college career in 2024 at Division II Minnesota State-Moorhead, He averaged 14.5 ppg (2nd on the team), 2.0 rpg, and 2.5 apg, and helped lead the team to a 23-6 record.
He is no longer playing and was just hired as an assistant coach at Seward Community College.
Congratulations to JaMir!
