For whom are we rooting? (MEM and BUCKNELL)

I feel that BU can play with anyone right now but you have to be rooting for Bucknell. Memphis is the number one seed and UNI was able to beat Bucknell.

Memphis beat Bucknell 72-56. I think Bradley matches up okay with Memphis, but the Braves will have to slow the tempo down as I don't think they can beat them in a track meet.

I think we can play with Memphis too. Not sure what to expect. It will be a long 4 days! Too bad the Bison couldn't pull off the upset. Bradley-Bucknell would have seemed like a character from a Jane Austen novel .

The key is going to be the D. If we continue to force teams to take bad shots and turn the ball over, the offense is going to come. I just hope all the hype of the next few days doesn't affect the preparation going into the Memphis game. We've obviously come into both the Kansas and Pitt games with a good game plan and executed it nearly to perfection.

You guys took out one of my teams.

I will have a great time watching my other team slaughter you.

Hope you enjoyed the ride so far.

WOW you have two teams. Most impressive.... You sound just like the other KU fans that were on this board.

Go talk smack to someone who cares :D

Dear banyon:

wow...let me guess, your "teams" are the yankees and red sox in baseball, the patriots and steelers in football, spurs and pistons in basketball and the nhl sucks so who cares about that.

GO BRAVES!!!

No my baseball team is the Royals. How's that for jumping on a bandwagon?

I grew up in Memphis and graduated from KU. It's not really a bandwagon thing.

Guess there are fans like this at every school...always fun to see them crawl back in their corner on their way back home. We are now rid of Tom Light and soon this troll will be gone as well. Go ahead banyon get your money's worth. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Right now Bradley is capable of playing with any team in the country. They are as hot as anyone. I'm sure Memphis has some good players to be a 1 seed, but certainly they have to be worried about O'Bryant. GO BU!

tiger fan here, should be a great one. you guys frustrated the H out of pitt. hopefully our tigers will be ready, as this will be alot tougher than our first two games.

Thanks Rollo. We appreciate your good wishes and those of any other reasonable Tiger fans.

Several other posts by a different, and less polite Tiger fan have been deleted.
We will not tolerate posts that cross the line.

That stuff won't fly on this board.....you can talk it but we take the high road.

BU is MORE concerned about BU. Are fans are confident yet humble. WE, unlike Digger, Packer and elitist fans realize EVERYONE in the final 64 is good.

We take NO ONE lightly, prepare and stay focused,,,,thus the two round wins.

Is Memphis favored...you bet...should they be...of course. Are we afraid....not for a moment. Your in for a battle.

Now excuse me...its Monday...time to take out the trash.

Good luck and thanks for stoppin by......

I wouldn't mind a little run down of your team if anyone has the energy. I know you've got two studs in O'bryant and Sommerville. I was so nervous about the upcoming Tiger game, I didn't focus on the other players. I did notice that O'Bryant was having his way with the Panthers though.

Like I said, any info on the other Braves players from a Tiger fans perspective would be interesting and help me to enjoy the game more. (btw, I am 47 yrs old, and used to listen to Bradley-tiger contests in the mvc days).

Gracias.

Well I actually posted this before your admins deleted my messages, since I guess they put me in a better light.

I've been rooting for Memphis since I could watch TV and I'm damn sure going to enjoy it now. I attended every game when I lived there and watch every game that is available to me.

When will people ever learn? Fans of major teams have NOTHING to gain by coming and picking on Bradley fans before a game like this. It's a lose lose situation. If Memphis blows Bradley out, well...they're a freaking one seed. If Bradley wins, then guys like this have made bigger fools of themselves than they ever needed to. See: Fans, Kansas of.

I would like to apologize for banyon's "enthusiasm". Memphis fans are for the most part very considerate and respectful to our foes. As with most schools, however, we have a few "enthusiastic" fans that like to talk a lot of smack.

We are looking forward to the game Thursday. You guys have looked great in the tourney so far so I'm sure it will be a tough fought contest.

To back up what Blue is saying, I have no clue who Banyon is or where he came from. I'm not famaliar with some one using that name on any of our normal boards.

It's all OK. He went to Kansas University and what we have seen from their posters on this board last week he's pretty much the norm. I'm sure if he attended MSU he would represent you guys with little more class like you two.
