Followup on Coach Al B and others

I actually stumbled across a followup of one of the BU assistant coaches.
Jamie Angeli was an assistant in 88-89, is president and CEO of Camp of Champs, and he has his bio on this site, that confirms his stint as BU assistant.
http://www.campofchamps.com/aboutus.htm

Another ex-assistant in the Molinari era, George Barber is head coach at Greenville College, presently having an off year at 3-11.

Coach Al Biancalana got the biggest win of his short career at Elmhurst York.

Last night they knocked off the #8 rated Bolingbrook squad,
66-62. D-I recruit Will Walker (DePaul) had 22 pts for Bolingborrk (15-2)
York is 16-3 and deserves some votes in the statewide ranking, and maybe this will get them the notice they need.

Also Patrick Beverley got 29 points/5 steals in a 100-77 rout of Farragut.

More trouble for the prestige of the Chicago Public League.
Last night at Chicago Collins High School, the Sherron Collins-led Chicago Crane whupped the home team 79-50, but the game had to be stopped and the gym cleared with 1:25 still left on the clock, and the outcome was forfeited to Crane as the home crowd incessantly threw debris onto the court and could not be controlled by the Collins officials.

Here is something interesting.
Coach Al Biancalana led his Elmhurst York to a very fine season in his first year there, despite predictions they would be going through a rebuilding year there.

You would have thought his job as head coach at York would be secure, but note this which appeared on illinoishighschoolsports.com:

"Saw the head coaching position is open here" (Elmhurst York)
http://www.illinoishighschoolsports.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=002346

And also this under a topic titled,
"Coaching Vacancies"
"Elmhurst York..."
http://www.illinoishighschoolsports.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=018990;p=11

Anyone know what's up at York?
Has Al B gotten another college job?

Al Biancalana must no longer be the coach at Elmhurst York!

Perhaps one of our knowledgable posters has heard a rumor.
One poster on another board has said that it is the girls coaching spot that is open, but that's not what was posted on the other boards linked above.

Indeed one of our posters has made mention that Coach Al Biancalana has placed his name in the hat for the head coaching job at Illinois Wesleyan.
