Final: Utah 68 BU 60

I just see very little talent from the men in suits and uniforms.....plain and simple.

We aint good...PERIOD.

D*** Your right Dog:( We have NO O and Little to NO D:!: We have NO Point Guard! We have only one shooter! We have No front line that can put the ball in the hoop:( Our guards cannot stop anyone and besides AW we have NO 3 point threat! And we have very little coming off the bench:!:
As for our coaches, Jimmy you can do it all by yourself, save some money and let them all go:rolleyes: You have done nothing but cut the heart out of the staff that is there to help you:!:
Even our radio coverage is dead! Not their fault, but they are just not as good as CB was making excuses or maybe they are tried of it as the fans are and just plain cannot bring themselves to try:roll:
We are in some deep do-do right now, people:mad::(

I saw AT's picture this morning on the side of my milk carton. If someone is looking for a scholarship to open up for next year, start there, unless AT isn't able to graduate in 4 yrs.

Letting AW fire away is ok if he can shoot better than 36%...AW was 2-2 in the final 90 seconds, until those, he shot 29% (5/17). Add 38% shooting by DD and you end up with a lot of other players on the floor who will shoot any chance they get and will give up on defense and rebounding, cause, what's the use...

Time for the Princeton Offense?

I said a month ago when we got a big man project I wanted a shooting guard instead but everyone on here was ok with a big man. In the college game you have to be able to shoot the 3 well.

Don't know about post of the year but its simply how I see it anymore. Nothing really left to say. I will still go becuase its BU and I will support them through the good and the bad BUT I can certainly see how many are going to start staying home......

I for one am going to just sit back and see how it all plays out. I'm tired of complaining and there really is little left to say.

I have never been so quiet and un-involved at games like this year....I want to yell...I want to get excited but last nite I was just there hoping it would end...soon.

Games ain't the same without you being involved. Thought the bouncing basketballs promotion would get everyone involved. Hope Vince has better news the rest of the home season when he calls me.

I seriously doubt AT is going anywhere at this point since he has already redshirted a year.

You have to have good post play in order to get your 3 point shooters open shots, without good post play the defenders can stay out on the perimeter to guard instead of having to give help defense inside , J.Crouch would struggle to get good shots on this team.

I also bet we'll need him this year at some point where he will play significant minutes. Of course unless we do play 5 guards.

I know you are just kidding:(
Last night we started WE and JP, were down by only 3 points 10 to 7 and Jimmy replaced both on the bench and the next thing I knew we were down by 13:eek:
Yes we had AT in there with 4 guards, BUT:mrgreen: Lets face the fact, we have guards that can not shoot or play good D:!: Our guard play is just as bad as our big play, maybe worse, considering there are more of them and they get more playing time:roll: We are in some BAD DO-DO here:!: Only thing that we have going for us, MAYBE, is we are in one of the weakest and a crappiest conf this year:badgrin:

I have been pleased with AW on both ends of the court this season (though I've only seen 2 games). He is definitely better than last season, his intensity has increased, and we should give him credit for starting the season out the way he has. He's not goign to be a defensive stopper, but he has held his own I think. I know his FG % is not great, but there's a lot of pressure on him.

+1 and he did grab a few rebounds and took a few charges!

Are you saying BU hasn't needed AT so far this season? :-o

Seriously, in a game where BU played like a HS team, he gets 3 minutes. He isn't in JL's doghouse, he is in JL's outhouse.

It is starting to look like a WO guard is going to get more minutes than a scholarship senior.

If he has enough credits to graduate next spring, and if he doesn't get any PT this year, I can't understand why he would stay. Unless he wants to use his scholarship to complete a graduate degree.

We seemed to be afraid of Utah's 7 footers to take the ball inside, which we need to do since we really don't have a shooter outside of Warren. Near the end of the game we just dribbled into their big men, and that's when we made our runs. It looked like we were intimidated out there and that it was every man from themselves. I'm surprised Dodie isn't shooting more than he is with our offense lacking as much firepower as it is now. And now Walt looks like he can't hit the broad side of a barn with his shot. We got him to be able to take the ball to the hoop and finish and he isn't showing that he's capable of doing that to me. I don't know, it just seems like it's going to be a long season. I hope someone else besides Warren can figure out that we need points and step up their game so we don't finish below 8th.

Just the really confusing part to me is that aren't all these guys suppose to be DI players? It was like it was Andrew Warren and a bunch of role players. Unacceptable. I hope next years class can actually play, otherwise I wouldn't be surprised if we see Les out the door. Ok, I'm done venting. Go Braves!

He'll have to play for when JP and WE both pick up 2-3 fouls in the first 1/2 quickly.

If you are corrrect, and AT finishes out his eligibility next year playing behind WE, JP, AND AD, will have to come up with some new kind of BU Team award for him (AT)....

I'll have to give this some thought:!: ....
