Final score: Bradley 73 Drake 61 - Bradley is MVC Champions

Approximately 9,400 tickets have been sold as of this morning. A little over 1,600 tickets remain...though some of them are singles scattered across the arena. We may not get a sellout but I think 10k+ is very likely.

It would be cool if some corporate sponsors or major donors snatched up some of the $5 seats and donated them to Boys and Girls Club (and other similar organizations) so some of those kids could go to the game.

There were some block sales that removed sections from the Ticketmaster database all at once. What they were for, I don't know.

Can't emphasis enough how much a sellout crowd will mean to Wardle and the team. It's been a looooooooooooong time since there was over 10,000 in Carver Arena to watch a Braves game. It was almost 9 years ago to the day as on 2-25-2014 we played #2 Wichita State. This is game #162 versus Drake, the most games against any opponent and not many if any have been any bigger than this one. IT'S TIME TO ROCK THIS HOUSE! GET ER DONE!

AMENNN Jimmy!

Below are the tickets still available as of 11 am today (Friday, 2/24).
Compare with about 24 hours ago in the above image.
It looks like over 9,000 tickets sold.

Now nothing left in the lower bowl but a few singles

Ticket sales continue to be strong. A number of the tickets that were still available in my last post just 2 hours ago are now sold and unavailable.
A quick estimation of the remaining tickets looks like there are about 1200 tickets still available on Ticketmaster. There are probably also some tickets being held back that might become available by game time. For every game there are tickets that go to the opposing team, and some are always held back by Bradley, if needed. But it is looking more like we might see 10,000+ by Sunday.

I wonder if they will bring back some bleacher seating for the students next to the band or if that will remain open with tables. I think there will be a strong student presence Sunday.

Gameday information for fans-

Note that the Civic Center Box Office will open at 9:30 am Sunday for ticket sales.
The annual Home Show is going on this weekend, and large crowds are expected and parking could be in short supply.
Arena doors will open early, 90 minutes before game time. Fans are urged to get to the Arena early.
Bradley's Senior Day activities will start prior to the game.

I don't know,,, and I don't believe any announcement has been made regarding the starting time. But, because it is on ESPN2, the game should start on time. So the senior recognition would likely start 15-20 minutes before 3:00.

I am driving down for the game and it has been a couple years since I've seen us play in Peoria. What is the parking situation now? I always used to park at the lot just north of the arena that was the $5 "donation" lot. Any current tips? I'd like to get something close as I'm coming with my dad who can have a bit of trouble walking these days.

That Fulton St. Parking lot just north of the Theater side of the Civic Center is still probably the best lot to try to park in, except the fee there is now $10.
Normally, it is large enough that game parking is not a problem. However, with the Spring Home Show (hours 10am-4pm) going on, and the large Bradley crowd, that lot will fill completely, so get there early.
Also, because it's Sunday, there will be some free street parking, though some street spots might require walking a couple blocks.

A little (ok, a lot) bummed that I won't be able to see the game Live, but thank God it's on ESPN+ so I can watch the full game replay at night when I get home!
Just need to stay away from looking at ANY scores on my phone from 3 pm on.

Go BRAVES!!!

Coming down for the game. We usually grab a beer and a bite at Kellehers before the game, but it looks like they are closed on Sundays. Any other suggestions within walking distance?

I called Kelleher's and talked with a manager there who said: they will be open from 1-3 (limited food offerings - apetizers) - close from 3-5 (as their staff is attending the game) and will be open afterwards.... Call to verify ---- Go Braves!!

Nice...thanks! I was looking at another place called Kenny's that opens at 11:00. Anyone been there?

It's amazing how being in first place heading into the final game of the regular season, at home, can increase attendance by 5,000. It is refreshing to see BU in this position. It's much better than hovering around third or fourth place, and hoping we play well at the tournament in St.Louis.
