The Green Wave will be Bradley's second-round opponent in the CIT Saturday night. Now 20-14 after tonight's win against South Alabama, you may remember Tulane as the last opponent in Robertson Memorial Field House in the third round of the 1982 NIT.

Hope to see you Saturday night!

Bobby - you gotta put the ticket office phone number in there - people are asking where to call...

CALL 309-677-2625 - for tickets to Saturday's game!

(Plenty of great seats available - everyone should call now - I just locked in on 6 right down by courtside!!)

Saw Tulane in person here in Tulsa a week ago today...was not impressed. Pretty much turned into a Memphis dunk-a-thon...they had to have had at least 10 dunks in that game, many spectacular.

yeah - but clearly Memphis is stronger & deeper but to Tulane's credit - they fell behind by 17 in the 1st half and battled
back to make it much tighter the entire 2nd half and outscored Memphis 41-37 in the 2nd half despite Memphis played their studs the whole game & didn't let up.

I wouldn't say Memphis didn't let up...they turned it on and off at will that game. That's one big negative about this Memphis team...they get up big and relax. It'll get them beat if not today then sometime soon.

So what have we here... A meeting between both my Alma Maters?

First off, some basics. YOGWF.com. Tulane forum. Good people, huge inferiority complex, they have people who remember when Tulane could put 100k into the original stadium on campus, and are pissed off that there isn't that level of interest today, not totally unlike some of our fans who knew of BU back in the hey day.

They certainly remember 1982. There were people calling for a rematch with Bradley as soon as the pairings for the first round were announced.

I am hoping Bradley does disgusting things to Tulane, I am talking beating them by 45 points with subs.

BP - do you know why there wasn't at least a short public acknowledgement of Tony Barone in the crowd last night??
He is still a favorite of a lot of Bradley fans...and I did have a good chance to talk with him at halftime...
he was quite proud of his son - the assistant under Wardle - and has very fond memories of Peoria, although the last time he sat in the exact same spot it was when an airplane hangar surrounded him...

Anyway - I heard this...that he wanted to get back into coaching now that his stress of running an NBA team is behind him - and he was really interested in putting his name in the ring for the Drake job - but kinda felt snubbed by those "in power" at Drake who didn't even care to consider it.

UIC beat Chicago State last night for their first post-season win ever..
they head to UNI for the 2nd round...
UIC lead by 22 in the 1st half but lost that entire lead and trailed in the 2nd half.
There were a total of six technicals in the game & one was on the UIC bench...
they did honor CSU head coach Tracy Dildy who was a past assistant at UIC...

Thanks, I enjoyed watching it again and hearing some familiar names. I noticed our mascot was on the floor. I also heard a name many Bradley fans would like to forget, Webster.

I went to a lot of games there just like several members of the board. I often wondered how the south bleachers continued to stand when all the fans started stamping their feet.

i switch to another bradley email and it says my last user ID is already in use when that submission failed too...

thennnnnnn I make a new 4 character name to find out you can't register with gmail or yahoo emails (free emails)..... so **** that whats a boy to do
