Anyone else hear the rumor that Ohio University guard is now considering Bradley?

Fears had announced he was going to transfer to Iowa State, but since their entire coaching staff was just fired, this rumor might be more than just a rumor.

Just thought I would pass on what I heard.
 
mel........a guy at Byerly airport was telling me the same thing and I told him I thought he committed to iowa state.......and I knew the caoching was up in the air? Right now I think the Braves can be real selective on who they give the last 2 rides too! :wink:
 
JL got hundreds of text messages from people all over the country after the wins.....SEVERAL recruits were included.(no names).

I can see it..."Coach Les, can I come to BU".....we are Duke....the players are recruiting us :lol:

I am really not sure what rules apply to transfers, but does a transfer have to wait for a signing period to commit?

And if not, as long as Fears, hasn't started classes at Iowa State, I don't think they would hold him to any committment, especially now with the coaching change.
 
I think he is still enrolled at Miami of Ohio till the end of the school year.........then he will transfer to which-ever school he chooses and will then have to sit for a year! :wink: Maybe he will want to play for McDermott? :-o
 
I guess I was wrong :oops: but after watching him at the DU game I'm not sure we would want him.......he talked on the cell phone and never stood up the whole night looking very bored.....with-in 2 days he committed to iowa state! I also think Maniscalo plays the same spot and would be able to play the same time! :idea:
 
I don't want this kid. He could have cared less about being at the BU-Drake game, and didn't want to come here even after seeing the atmosphere. We just got a commitment from a point guard today. I don't really want this head case around.

It is now being reported that Jeremy Fears will go to Virginia Tech and Wake Forest to interview.
