Favorite 05-06 moments at home

While we are waiting for some LOIs and PO'Bs decision I thought it would be cool to remember some of the moments from the season at home where most us see the Braves in person. We all know Franklin's half court buzzer beater, and PO'Bs 28 against Pitt, and so many other moments from March will go down in BU history. I wanted to focus on the home cooking moments. Call it your top 5, top 10, your one and only, whatever you like. Here is my top 3. What are yours?

#3. Senior night Drake- Late in the game with the outcome long decided the crowd starts chanting "WE WANT HEEMSKIRK". You can clearly see Brandon looking around at the crowd and smiling on the bench. Then he gets in and the first offensive trip he gets the ball low and puts it in the hole. The crowd goes wild.

#2. UNI-Tony Bennet grabs Jim Les on the way off the court after an overtime victory and points to the scoreboard so Jim will notice that Tony held Grant Stout to 10 points in the game. Jim looked and gave him a hug with one arm around Tony???‚¬?„?s shoulder as they continued walking to the locker room. Mission accomplished is all I could think.

#1. Senior night Drake- Marcellus gets his career high 30th point on his last night at Carver with his replacement waiting at the scorers table to come in. It seemed poetic. I saw his Father at the valley tourney after and he said it brought tears to the eyes of the whole family. A great finish to a great career.

The ISU game was memorable, no doubt. I don't know what halftime speech Les gave our guys, but he needs to do it more often.

I loved Zack Andrews' performance in the Western Kentucky game. I think he had 5 offensive rebounds just off missed free throws :-o

The win against #24 ranked UNI @ their place on senior night .........and oh yeah........last game in the uni -dome.............what a spanking!

The time I came within 70 feet of catching one of those T shirts  that "rocket" into the stands....ahhhh the memories. :D

Not hoop related but Quick Change and the frisbee dogs are great halftime stuff.

Another moment I thought of later is Tauai's 7 assists and 5? steals against SIU. He played saluki D on the salukis.

Zach's putback-slam-dunk off of TB's pass/missed shot to end the first half against Bowling Green.... right before QuickChange
