Just be glad you're a Bradley fan!

You should hear the Drake announcers. As the Bulldogs are about to squeak out a win over one of the worst teams in the league (Evansville), their announcers are acting like they're about to win the conference championship.

I'm happy for the Drake faithful, but can you imagine how bad things would be if we would be getting excited over barely beating a team like Drake or Evansville ... at HOME ... on senior night??

Be proud that we expect to beat EVERYONE at home :lol:

This game was important to Drake for a couple reasons. Yes, it was their last home game, and senior night. But also because by winning, their record goes to 16-13 and guarantees their first winning season since the 1986-87 season! That is one of the longest intervals in Division I for a team with a pretty good history for basketball. A loss left them with a good chance at a .500 record.
Also, they believe their 16-13 record still leaves the possibility of an NIT bid. So I can understand why they were celebrating.

Yeah I should have noted that but it doesn't change the fact that expectation level is SO low there, it's almost laughable.

More importantly, it makes me appreciate being a BU fan and the great crowds we always have and our expectation to win.

Exactly why I keep saying that teams like Drake would love to have Hinson as a coach if he could recruit the players and coach teams like Drake to 20 wins every year!
