Early Pre-Season Rankings from ESPN

Here are the rankings from ESPN. Two BU opponents are listed on it, No. 5 Michigan and No. 16 Creighton. My "Other" team Notre Dame is pre-season 22. Note some of the others receiving votes:
SLU (46), Butler (33), Drexel (5), UNI (5), Valparaiso (3). Wichita State has been dropped completely for some reason from 18 down to not even receiving a single vote.

Thoughts?

Here are some thoughts:

Not that I know a whole lot about either team, but ranking Indiana #1 and Michigan #5 after last season's results seems too high. Does Michigan have another Fab 5 on the way? (we should continue to root for Michigan to do well, so we can knock them off undefeated coming into Carver!)

So many big name schools in the Top 15, and then you get to Creighton. Good to see the 'Jays are ahead of all other mid-majors.

UCLA at #13? What are they smoking? What post-season tournament did they play in last year?

UNI comes in at #46, which I figure is about right. We'll see how they start off without James.

Pretty much my thoughts, I think they're still riding the high of Indiana downing UK at the start of last year haha. I was really surprised about Michigan.

I am surprised UNI is listed and Ill. State is not. Do you think the loss of Nic Moore had that much to do with it?
