I agree with a lot of the statements of Stevebu91, except Bradley does not need a law school. If you have read the Wall Street Journal, you will see how many graduates from law schools are having a hard time finding work. Even established law firms are eliminating positions, including partners. I know many fine lawyers and judges, but we need our country and Bradley to educate more engineers and science majors. This will help raise our standard of living in the future and I hope Bradley builds the Convergence Center in the near future.
The worst hit by the economy are the students coming from bad law schools, and frankly, Bradley would not be a good law school. Drake has a low ranked law school (no offence meant to any alumni), and I see no reason to believe why Bradley's would rise above that level.
Right, I want to put a disclaimer on mine. I don't really care about the admins. President Glasser is not my favorite and she'll always be the one that tore down the Fieldhouse to me, but I love what is happening on campus.
I also hated Jim Les for the last couple years (mostly about 2?) that he was here for the sole reason that he wasn't winning and, much like a Notre Dame head coach, being mediocre and not competing for championships was wearing on me. It's not like he couldn't win and I had fun watching some of his teams growing up (The Sweet 16 year was absolutely magical, still remember going to many games from that season). He'll always be a part of Bradley Basketball, and he stepped the program up to another level that will hopefully get BU back on top, but I'm excited for Geno and I still think it was time for a change.

My answer is that there are personal relationships involved for me, so I admit that I have biases.
I love the idea of Bradley putting together a mens (and women's) lacrosse team. There are very few programs in the country, and most of those are east coast schools. I think BU has a great opportunity to jump onto lacrosse especially with the future of football so wishywashy.
Building the dome over by Shea is key to the success of a lot of programs. Hopefully BU can get that done.
A dome? Would it be retractable and be able to seat at least 25K? Now we're talking. Love the idea.

I've heard the same thing from friends of mine who are partners in some major national law firms. The competition to get a job now in one of those firms is off the charts. BU is best suited in producing a strong engineering college that is also connected to a pro entrepreneurship business program cemented in real world ventures. I really like the Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I suspect they will have to tweak it in order to optimize its value but it is a great step in the right direction of forward thinking.
