Deon's Buzzer Beater selected as BEST PLAY EVER!

AWESOME!! I'm sure many of us were there for that shot. I was and will never forget the pure "touch"!

I don't know about the rest of you guys, and whether you voted or not (or how often)
but I am taking partial credit for this one... ;)

YESSS!!!
Finally something goes our way this season!
Hoping SM will not get snubbed as MVC 1st-team, and that DSE gets on MVC 1st-team Freshman.

My memory is that, even as positive a fan as I am, I had all but given up hope, and was standing in the exitway, ready to run out and try to sell my tickets for the next day. What happened next was unbelieveable.

that's funny DC...cause I was in an exit way too.....and then running to the booth to buy tix for the next day:)

Easily my favorite memory of the MVC Tournament. There isn't a close second :) I couldn't stop smiling for about a day and a half. I was standing right under neath the basket where Deon threw the shot in. Amazing.

Anyone have any good jpeg's they could post or email me of Deon's shot? I have the one from the PJ Star, but I am looking for one to make my wallpaper on my phone. Need the good vibes all week...

I was around the same spot in the student section. After the game at the KSHE bar & grill adjacent to the Union Station, the crowd would go nuts anytime they would show Deon's shot. It was on about 3 times an hour.

From that shot on Sunday afternoon to the next game against Tulsa on Monday night, we probably yelled 'Chutzpah' a thousand times from the Robert Goulet commercial.
