CRob not quite done as a Brave?

I was at Markin today and CRob looked like he was filming a highlight reel of dunks with ABIII and a few teammates. My guess is that he will be submitting that video along with past highlights to try and get a spot in NCAA Dunk Contest that Boogie was in a few years ago.

Some of the things he was doing were just crazy. His head was easily above the rim on over half his throw downs!! Here's to hoping he has one more shot to bring home some hardware as a Brave!!

Good Luck Chris

OK where's your vid from your phone? I hope they chose him!

That'd be awesome if he could get in on the dunk contest. Chris doesn't need to shoot any new video. He should be able to string together enough Sportscenter highlights alone! :)

this reminds me that how good he was/is and how good wilson was. for whatever reason theron wilson was underrated.he was a very good player.

I have reminded chris that he should enter the dunk contest so many times!

I would attempt to be in attendance for this if it were in Indianapolis...

they happen to be replaying a 3 point/dunk contest....from 2007-2008..on ESPN right now..

EDIT: Brian Randle is now up

EDIT: They just mentioned that the guy Will Bullard (the runner-up)...had his assistant coach film his video for him...he was a walk-on from UT-CC

They have asked him 3 questions after each dunk....he has answered "We just havin fun"

I wonder what he'll come up with if he is chosen to participate.
Can't see him not being considered.
He is a graceful dunker, yet displays power, kinda' like MJ.

He has enough hangtime to do a windmill-type jam.

My top 3 dunks from CR this year (only got to watch about 12 games) are:

1) Dunk over WSU player in Wichita near end of game.
2) Powerful Dunk vs. Evansville at Evansville in 2nd half.
3) Sportscenter Play #1A - unbelievable put-back jam vs. CU in Valley quarterfinals.

There were probably more that I didn't get to see.

CR is definitely deserving of being in the dunk contest on ESPN. I really hope he gets selected, I would love to see what he could do.

I immediately thought MJ with the Creighton dunk. In traffic, 3' above everyone else, catch the board with 2 hands and have the time to tomahawk it!

If chosen, remember the lesson Boggie learned. 1) Do NOT hold back your best dunk in the 1st round. If you do not make the finals, a better dunk in your pocket does you no good.

2) do not start with a catch and release dunk. If you cannot get or hold onto the ball, you cannot dunk. Catch and release often takes multiple tries and the wasted time is not a good thing for the judges. If possible, try a free-throw line windmill. Show your grace and athleticism!

A free throw line windmill would end all dunk contests.
