Connor Hickman enters portal

I think he will. :) I have a pretty good source who says he's definitely considering it.

It is contingent on getting the waiver from the NCAA.

There is one recent example of a player who played one game over the allowable limit for a medical waiver, and the NCAA
went ahead and granted it on appeal.
Xavier Johnson from Indiana, in 2022-23 played one game past what would have appeared to be the limit but was allowed to return for 2023-24
There was also a Missouri State guard, Spencer Laurie, who played back when the medical waiver limit was just 20% of games (usually 6 games)
and he played over than and played in a couple games past the midpoint of the season, but was still granted a redshirt.
We can only hope that the NCAA continues its trend of being pretty generous with waivers.

As of now, there appears to be plenty of minutes to go around for next year, and a team can never have too many good 3-point shooters. Plus, Hickman brings a great deal more to a team than just his shooting.
I loved what Zek contributed, but IMO, Bradley could have been a better team in 2024-25 if they had Connor instead.

In hindsight I agree with this, and honestly expected a bit more from Zek last season. I think his year at URI was a setback, and he should have easily been a 2nd team All-Valley player last season, if not 1st.

Connor really matured his Junior season from what I saw. He is a tough kid and no doubt he would provide a great boost to next year's team if he decides to return.

The main reason I would be for Hickman is an on court leader....looking at the roster next season I fail to see one!
