The Mountain West situation is becoming a bit clearer now. Of course we have a team nowhere near the bubble that has come in to crash the party in Wyoming. They still have to win out to earn an NCAA bid. UNLV by virture of their first round loss is most likely out too.
This now leaves San Diego St and New Mexico as the two remaining teams from the MWC that are on the bubble. I think SDS's semifinal appearance tonight may be enough to get them in, with New Mexico getting the shaft. However SDS would be well advised to beat BYU tonight just to be sure, especially in case Wyoming pulls the shocker and wins the whole tourney. It still looks like three teams in for now, but there are still scenerios where four or even only two could make it. And New Mexico could still be a possibility due to a strong finish and a 3-4 RPI top 50 record and 7-8 RPI top 100 record.
