One man dead and as many as 350 hospitalized for heat related illness according to reports.
It was so hot that organizers should have called this thing off before it started.
In the end, they did halt the race after 3.5 hours, but only after numerous ambulance personnel and paramedics were called and pleaded with the officials to stop.
