FWO you need to get out of Illinois! I'm not saying Illinois is a bad school but a kid choosing Stanford over them is to me is not a shock at all. Have you ever been to Stanford and checked out Silicon Valley and the bay area? If you did perhaps you would agree. I've traveled around and I can say the the SF Bay area is 2nd to none. This is not my original home town. The only thing that sucks is the cost of living but there is a reason it costs so much. Also Stanford has the 3rd largest endowment with notable young alumnus from Google. Sorry Illinois can't compare.

I am not arguing cornfields vs. awesome weather....

I am arguing the current blueprints of each teams basketball program.............................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He will have to sit and watch all the fun he could have had....when he flips to ESPN/CBS.
