Can BU still make the Big Dance?

I don't think an MVC tournament win is a must, provided we play SIU in the 2nd round... Our RPI after a win over Southern, I would think, would be in the low 20s, and that with some of our quality wins, such as VCU, SIU, and apparently Wright St (what???) may be enough to get us that at large bid. As far as I'm concerned though, it's time to win an MVC tournament this year and take away the question.

How about loyola, is that a good win in the selection committe's minds? They have 20 wins and just beat Butler.(Although I think Butler was way overrated.) If Butler played in the MVC, I think they would have suffered more losses, and would be on the bubble.

I was just going to mention that when i saw Loyola beating Butler, and their record is good...

Beat UNI, Beat SIU, thats enough energy to keep rolling and beat MO St or CU for an automatic bid. I'm not sure why people are talking that we will beat SIU but then turn around and lose the championship.

I think they just mean that if they get to the final, that could be enough to get back into the bubble picture. I would hope nobody thinks/would want BU to lose the title game again.

does the tourny look at the game stats- if so they might give us some sympathy for the loss at home to uni- they did shoot 80% in the second half

I don't think anyone will give Bradley sympathy for bad defense. They were shooting layups - they should make 80%.

I'm just wondering with the way ESPN touted the top 4 Valley teams, and the fact that the Valley is climbing back toward the top 5 in the RPI, if Bradley gets in with a win tonight and on Friday. It would be close, but I find it hard to believe that the committee would keep out the fourth place team in a top 5 conference. That is unless someone below them wins the Valley tourney. Just some food for thought.

That just reminds me of an old 50's song... goes like this:
Dree a ee a eem, dream, dream, dream... oh, dree a ee a eem, dream, dream... Something like that.
