But Carlton Fay is just a junior, class of 2007. He has 1 more year at Putman County HS.

Call me skeptical, but I doubt that Dodie Dunson is considering ISU. :o

I like seeing the competition that Bradley is facing in trying to recruit these players. Surprised by how many times Bradley and Illinois are both on a player's list.

Here is an article from the St. Petersburg Times--
http://www.sptimes.com/2006/03/08/Sports/Road_trip_may_help_US.shtml

University of South Florida head coach Robert McCullum (a former assistant coach at SIU and U of I) is working hard to fill the last couple scholarships at USF. The article mentions Chipola JuCo guard Stefhon Hannah and Southwestern Illinois forward Lance Stemler as targets of USF and also lists other schools recruiting them. They do not mention ISU or Bradley in the list for Hannah or Stemler.

Florida State is probably the leader for Hannah, and they aren't on that list either.

As I said in the original post, this long list of potential recruits was a compilation from a bunch of different sites, and I apologize for a few inaccuracies, but they are what the original site stated.
The one I should have caught was the error on TJ being a junior.

At one time a few months ago, I also recall that Boys to Men SF Marcus Relphorde (who transferred from H-F to Hales to BTMA) was considering BU, but I haven't seen nor heard anything else since. He is "reclassified" as Class of 2007 (meaning he held back a year) so he is presently a junior.
Here is a current article on him.

Midstate Hoops has updated their player rankings and they list the following players among those Bradley is pursuing:

19-Aaron Johnson, Chicago Hubbard
23-Michael Capocci, Glenbard East -ALREADY COMMITTED to Northwestern
They no longer list BU as pursuing Justin Bocot, Brandon Dunson,or Carlton Fay

Class of 2008:
6-Jeremy Montgomery,Chicago Lincoln Park
9-AJ Rompza, Chicago Whitney Young
10-Lewis Young, Decatur Eisenhower
11-Belcore, Rob, Wilmette Loyola
14-Jeremy Robinson, Decatur Eisenhower

This photo was taken just the weekend before last at Lisle Benet Academy while Fay was playing with his Illinois Wolves AAU team in the 16-Under State Tournament.

yea. illinois is recruiting matt roth? i thought purdue was in the mix for roth but didn't see them mentioned.

I thought that today was the day of Fay's unofficial visit...from what I had heard. Anyone know/see if he did come. Might be a real good sign if he did.

That would be interesting if he did.......everyone thinks he will play for siu? Why..........I think he would look good as a Brave..........or whatever they name us after Friday! :-o
