Bulls to deal for Dwayne Wade?

Bulls would have to be stupid to offer this. No guarantees on D-wade's health. The guy needs to change the way he plays if he wants to last longer.

The original rumor was Bulls get Wade to just swap positions. I thought that must not be true because the Bulls would have taken that right away. I would have even thrown in Hughes. However this is a no also. That is way too much to give up, and the Heat don't really have anyone to add to sweeten the deal.

Hmmmmm.................... Proven superstar for total unknown quantity? Sounds like a "no-brainer" the other way around.....in BULLS favor, IMO.

I'd do the trade in a second, but the Bulls won't. They can't pull the trigger on anything, from making a trade to hiring a coach.

dwade w/out shaq hasn't been as impressive. plus he is so injury-prone. i hope they don't make this trade.

Wade has stated he wants to play off the ball and not have to handle it as much or at all. So, if that is to be believed then the Bulls are still lacking a control the game type of point guard but now have a great 2 guard who is extremely injury proned and has not proven he can win without a dominating center... which is also something Chicago lacks.

The Bulls do not need Wade, they need to draft Rose and package Gordon, Captian Kirk, and either Deng or Hughes for a veteran scorer... Carmelo Anthony comes to mind. Or a free agent like Corey Magette.

As a Bulls fan, I don't like Carmelo Anthony or Corey Maggette. Both are relatively low percentage outside shooters, who hog the ball, rarely pass, take a lot of low-percentage shots, and are surprisingly poor rebounders. And they are not winners.

Here are the stats for--
Corey Maggette--

and Carmelo Anthony--

The Bulls already have Larry Hughes, who is a similar player to these guys, and they can't wait to get rid of him.
I would like to have D. Wade, even though his numbers aren't a lot different than Maggette's and Anthony's, but he plays more of a team game, and has more assists than the other 2 combined.

I'm a big D Wade fan, but I wouldn't do this if I were the Bulls. Still no point guard, or low post scorer if this is put through, plus with Wade's health concerns it's a big gamble. Although I love Beasley, If I'm the Bulls I take the home town guy. I think Rose truly WANTS to be a Bull, and still has something to prove to his hometown. Take Rose, try to put something together for a low post guy with the abundance of guards they'll have and go from there.

The only problem the Bulls may have is moving Hinrich and or Hughes, if they choose to do so, because of their large contracts. Maybe Pax has already shopped them with no interest, and is taking these actions because of that. I would think that most teams would be most interested in Tyrus Thomas because of his youth, and relatively small contract, not sure if the Bulls are willing to part with him yet.

I'd do anything to have a Rose/Wade backcourt...two Chicago guards...same size, great athletes, one great scorer, one very good point guard. I'd give almost anyone on the team up to get those two together except Deng.
