ISU is really really good. Kristi Cirone, a junior, and Maggie Krick, just a soph, are as good as guards as I've seen in the Valley since Jackie Stiles. Nicolle Lewis at 6'5" provides plenty of inside muscle and scoring. And the rest of the team is good, too. Just a well balanced, good shooting, and well coached team. They are the real deal.

BU's Monica Rogers did contribute 18 points and 7 boards before getting hurt. It was some kind of leg or ankle injury and she left the bench on crutches. Here's hoping the best for her.

Didn't know Squirrel was there. My daughter woulda liked getting up close in person with a real live Squirrel and also be that close to the band.

Who is BBFan 77? I checked the members list and nobody listed under that name.

ISU is really good. I hope they can make it to the dance and win a game (or more) for the MVC.

I left early and missed Monica's injury. Hope she recovers quickly - she's got skills!

bbfan77 is a huge Redbird fan and as I understand it a major Redbird athletic booster. I believe he is from either Metamora or Peoria. Not sure though.

Hehe - sorry DannyCooksey. I was trying to be funny with MR. I have had the honor of meeting BBF77 - very nice guy. He is known as that name from "the other board", obviously. I have no idea if he reads or posts on this board. Anyway - I suspect I will be shaking his hand again when ISU Men come to Peoria. Maybe I will get the chance to shake yours as well.

I would like that, but I don't think I can make the game in Peoria. I hope to make the game at Redbird Arena as I have missed it the last 2 seasons. Bad scheduling from Joliet here.

I think bbfan77 posts a lot on the PJ-Star boards as well
