BU vs. theISU

I was just wondering what others think the crowd will be like for tomorrow's game? I am talking about butts in the seat, not paid tickets.

With much of the talk on here and other places about how interest is down, I would expect many of those borderline fans not to show. This is the game I have been waiting for to see how the public feels about the program.

I expect a large, but confused crowd.
Large because the rivalry makes this a higher priority game to attend. If you had season tickets and did not feel like going to other gmes, I still think you make this one.

Confused because Snell is advertising this game as a "sea of red" but this is a "white out"

tISU? Does that mean the rivalry is so important that coaches are hired or fired based solely on the rilvary's results?

ISU will bring a lot of fans based on their big win to get off the schnide(sp?)..

I see 9,124 fans in the seats to see BU win 67-58

I think this will be hard to measure..

I have a feeling that overall paid will be listed as slightly over 10.

I know some people who have high level seats, that will be attending their first game of the year....

I had high level seats a few years back...when they opened the Arena....ROW #32!!!!!!! :)

This game was not even a sellout last year, probably because of the effects of the economy. It was the first year in a while it was not officially a sellout. With both teams struggling this year and out of the MVC race, and with a couple of Bradley's key players out, it's understandable the interest is not the same this year. But it will still be the highest posted attendance of this season- probably 10,000+

9000 is my guess.

Randy Kindred, the ISU writer, says he called and found out that as of TUESDAY MORNING -- there were already over 10,000 tickets sold...

so most of you guys are going to be way wrong!

"More than 10,000 tickets had been sold by early Tuesday, meaning Carver Arena may be close to capacity.
10,000-plus for this game speaks well for the rivalry.."

BY THE WAY -- remember - it's supposed to be a white out...

..So why do the radio ads mention a sea of red?

I think the ideal promotion for all involved could be that the price of beer is directly correlated with the number of conference wins. So maybe tonight, free beer. After a win tonight, dollar beers! Everyone wins! Get some butts in the seats!

I would like to nominate you to the head of Bradley Basketball promotions department. I would be happy to buy a $17 beer!
