Bradley is following an under-the-radar player in the class of 2014.
Kevin Ndahiro is a 6'8" forward from Canada. He just moved to Kentucky and will be playing at a newly built high school in Bardstown, Kentucky, Thomas Nelson HS. His coach there will be Jim Youngman, former Metamora coach, who was just recently hired to start up the boys basketball program there. Last year he played at Archbishop O'Leary HS in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada). Until just recently, he was relatively unknown, but has now started to get interest from a lot of schools, including Mississippi State, Villanova, Washington, Depaul, USC, Oregon, Nebraska and Tennessee.

Story about Jim Youngman-

...His coach there will be Jim Youngman, former Metamora coach ...

Hey - here's little trivia question for the die hard basketball fans of Central Illinois...
Jim Youngman is a man of many talents, I first met him while he was working as a pharmacy rep a few years back...
but he's also coached many teams........

Here's the question - what Central IL high school, that currently has an enrollment of less than 100 and is a member of a conference that includes a Peoria school, did Jim Youngman coach? - and he led them to the best record they've had since the 1980's?

Here's the answer if you want to mouse over to see...

Youngman coached DePue High School in 1994-1995 & 1995-1996,
and in 95-96 he led them to an 18-6 season!
Overall he's coached at 9 different high schools.

A reliable source says that Kevin Ndahiro was on Bradley's campus over the weekend on an unofficial visit...

Hey- here's a little known fact that when Kevin Ndahiro made his visit to Bradley - he was accompanied by a second player from Kentucky -- (they also stopped at Illinois)
we now know the identity of the other recruit who visited...and he is described as "one of the best shooters in the country"

It was AJ Youngman...son of the head coach at Bardstown, KY Thomas Nelson HS a freshman next year, Class of 2017

AJ was a star even as far back as when he was in 4th grade - LINK
...and last year - http://a0.twimg.com/profile_images/1547980308/aj.jpg

AJ hasn't even spent a day in high school yet but it reportedly already getting other Big Ten interest...

In the state of Kentucky - where their HIGH SCHOOL association (KHSAA - equivalent of IHSA)
allows 7th & 8th graders to play on their high school varsity.... 6-4 8th grader AJ Youngman is one of the top players - 29 pts & 10 rebs last week then two consecutive games of 36 points this past week...
...he plays for Thomas Nelson HS - a brand new school and this is their first year of competition -
they hardly have any players but are doing OK...
Since they just opened - they did not make any students start at the new school who would have been a senior and made it optional even for 9-11...so they have very few
students in the grades 9-11 and are using 8th graders since it's allowed by the state assoc. AJ Youngman is an 8th grader and GF knows about him!

Kevin Ndahiro - current teammate at Bardstown Thomas Nelson of AJ Youngman - did not play last year 2012-13...
he was declared ineligible - having been brought in as an "exchange student" (IHSA has similar rule - they may have to sit out one year) while Youngman averaged 19.1 ppg, 7 rpg, 4 apg (as a freshman)
..but he is doing well this summer and getting noticed after falling off the radar sitting out last season

Is it true that A. J. Youngman's family is moving back to the area. If it's true I'll be curious to see what school he ends up at. Seems like a lot of the better players end up at Limestone.

I just heard this again today from a second person. Maybe it's true?

former Geno Ford recruiting target Kevin Ndahiro keeps bouncing around....

first to Stetson, then to North Alabama -- now he's transferring to Lakehead University - a small, obscure university in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada..
..trying to extend his eligibility and get back closer to home
