This is weird....Walter Battle, a pretty strong big guy with some good numbers.
He was a recruiting target of Bradley at one time, but NO doubt BU doesn't want nor need him now,

and ISU needs a big man in the worst way and were after this guy.........they even were known to have offered the guy a scholarship last fall.......

So guess where he signs??

With Mike Suggs' old school, Central Missouri State (D-II) !
(according to Jucojunction)
So what gives...the guy would rather go to a D-II than go to ISU?
I guess he was heartbroken when BU filled their needs with Wilson, Collins, and Austin....
This one really has to be a puzzle.....on the ISU board they wanted this big guy...

I read on the MSU blog (letsgobears) that Battle was kicked off his juco team in mid year (06-07 season). Not sure if he is still in school! Question is? If he didn't or won't grad with enough credits to get into D1 programs can he enroll in D2 or D3 programs without the Assoc degree and credit hours?

:?:

"kicked off the team" doesn't always mean kicked out of school, so obviously the guy had enough credits to move to a 4-year school.
D-II schools still offer pretty good scholarsip aid.
