"2017 Bolingbrook, Ill., guard Nana Akenten picked up his first high-major offer from Nebraska on Monday.

..Akenten’s visit came after being in contact with Miles and lead recruiter Jim Molinari for several weeks.
After finally locking in a date to come tour the campus, Akenten said his time at Nebraska was everything
he had imagined and then some.

“They’ve shown some interest for a while ....Then I started talking to Coach Molinari pretty often and
my coaches ended up setting up a date for us to take a trip there."

“The visit was great. The facilities were unbelievable and the staff is even better. They have a lot to offer over there.”

More high-majors may not be far behind now that NU has pulled the trigger with an offer, as other Big Ten schools
like Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota have all been showing interest as well lately."
